Product Details

The Context UL-Plus Mutisensor (Optical smoke & Heat) detector HEAD ONLY (Xpert card Style- DiscoveryProtocol)- Flashing LED Option- UL LISTED is part of the Analogue Addressable Fire Detectors range from Context Plus, supplied and supported by SPS. The Context UL-Plus Multisensor detector with Discovery communication Detector consists of optical smoke and thermistor temperature sensors whose outputs are combined to give the final analog value. As a result, the Multisensor is useful over a wide range of applications and is highly immune to false alarms. The Context UL-Plus Heat detector with Discovery communication is distinguishable by the low airflow resistant case and uses a single thermistor to sense the air temperature around the detector.

Specifications & features

  • Context UL-Plus range of detectors with Discovery communication Protocol is a range of high-specification, intelligent fire detectors developed to meet the requirements of sophisticated systems while providing engineers with an additional dimension in fire protection capability.
  • Discovery communication Protocol has a ‘distributed intelligence system’ where decisions are made in the detector head as well as at the control panel.
  • This addressing card simplifies and speeds up installation and commissioning and eliminates addressing errors during maintenance and service Offers good response to both smouldering and flaming fires.
  • The temperature sensitivity allows this multisensor to give a response to fast burning (flaming) fires, which is similar to that of an ionisation detector.
  • The multisensor can therefore be used as an alternative to an ionisation detector.
  • Ideal for wide range of applications Highly immune to false alarms Well suited for sensitive environments Unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure
