The Electric Solenoid 24 VDC- For 35 To 560 LB Cylinders- UL Listed is part of the Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Accessories range from Context Plus, supplied and supported by SPS. The electric solenoid is used to discharge the cylinder valve. The cylinder valve is a normally closed valve that requires electrical energy to open. The electric solenoid is used to vent the pressure from the top of the piston in the cylinder valve, allowing the piston to slide upward and commence cylinder discharge.
